Our Pupil Parliament

At Dursley C of E Primary Academy, we believe that every child should have a voice and the opportunity to help shape our school. Our Pupil Parliament gives children the chance to represent their classmates, share ideas and work together to make a positive difference across the academy.

Our Pupil Parliament plays an important role in ensuring that pupils are involved in decisions that affect school life. By listening to the views of others and working collaboratively, our representatives help make our school an even better place to learn and grow.

Our Worship Team

Our Worship Team plays an important role in helping to shape and lead our collective worship. Made up of enthusiastic pupils from across the school, the team works alongside staff to ensure worship is engaging, meaningful and reflective of our Christian vision and values.

The Worship Team helps to plan worship themes, lead prayers, gather pupil voice and contribute ideas that support the spiritual life of our school. They encourage others to reflect on our vision, "Together We Shine Brightly Because Together We Make a Difference," and help create opportunities for everyone to participate in worship.

Our Together Committee

The Together Committee is a group of pupils who are passionate about helping others and strengthening our school community. Inspired by our vision, "Together We Shine Brightly Because Together We Make a Difference," the committee works to promote inclusion, wellbeing and positive relationships throughout the academy.

As agents of change, members of the Together Committee identify opportunities to improve school life, listen to the views of their peers and take positive action to make a difference. They help to ensure that every child feels heard, valued and included, while encouraging a culture of kindness, belonging and mutual support.

The committee leads and supports a range of initiatives, including community projects, charitable events, wellbeing activities and campaigns that have a positive impact both within school and beyond. Through their work, pupils learn that even small actions can create meaningful change.
